Arielle Deem, a multifaceted musician, educator, and artist based in Sacramento, California, boasts a diverse background showcasing her commitment to both artistry and community engagement. 

Arielle’s lifelong connection to music began at the age of two, sparking a heartfelt passion that she has cultivated throughout her life. While she explored a variety of instruments, including voice, piano, drums, and guitar, voice quickly became her primary musical focus. Her high school years were transformative, as she sang in a Renaissance choir that secured third place in an international competition in Wales, England, and made a memorable appearance as the vocalist for her high school jazz band at the prestigious Monterey Jazz Festival. These early experiences inspired her to start writing her own original music, setting the stage for a diverse and genre-bending musical foundation.

Arielle pursued her education at Berklee College of Music, specializing in Vocal Performance, and the California Institute of the Arts, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Music. Furthering her academic pursuits, she acquired a Master's Degree in Education from National University, along with a California Music Teaching Credential. While influenced by a wide range of musical icons, including Gershwin, Ella Fitzgerald, Amy Winehouse, Norah Jones, Esperanza Spaulding, Stevie Wonder, and Erykah Badu, Arielle’s formal education extended to encompass West African, Javanese Gamelan, North Indian, and the art of improvisation, creating a rich tapestry of influences that define her music. Her journey has led her to study with renowned musicians across various genres, and she has had the privilege of sharing the stage and collaborating with award-winning artists. 

Beyond her musical pursuits, Arielle is deeply committed to the power of song as a means to bring communities together. She offers private lessons, conducts workshops and leads the self-produced and curated Bring Change Festival and Benefit Concert Series, embodying the belief that music can be a catalyst for positive change and community cohesion. Her original music has transcended borders, taking her on tours across Europe, Canada, and the United States, where she shares her heartfelt compositions with audiences worldwide.
